I’ve taken a bunch of pictures lately, but have not been too happy with the results. I think I’m getting too critical of my shots; like I have high expectations. Anyway, this one is pulled from the archives. I really dig the blue door here.
It’s my birthday this month and I have my eye on a sweet lens… the sigma 10-20mm. I’m looking forward to shooting wide.

I can relate though, to what you're saying about being too critical. I myself suffer from a severe case of it. It's probably the reason I've never really persued any artistic endeavors. I have a hard time deciding what I want to do, and by the time I actually figure it out, and done a little something, I usually end up scrapping the whole project because I'm never happy with the results.
