To Ink or Not to Ink

To ink, or not to ink, that is the question! Of course, we couldn't stop at just the tattoo issue, rather we move into other Christian taboos and the whole issue of how we, as Christians, should understand the Levitical Law.

The Weight Issue

The Reality: Be it envy over Michael Phelps 12,000 calories a day diet, Emily Yoffe's spandex fantasy, or Argentina declaring obesity a disease, the weight issue is clearly on people's minds.

The Thought: To layout where I'm coming from, I don't struggle with my weight, although, if I'm like my dad, I can only day that for another 74.5 months because, when 40 hits, the metabolism stops. I should also say that there are ...

The tension in the room was high as Ryan and Joe frantically read their theology books, hoping to find an easier answer to this weeks question. Did they do it? Were they successful?

Aiding the Body

The Reality: Everyday, researchers are discovering new things about the human body, including things like the effects of oxytocin on a persons social interactions.

The Thought: As somebody who's had both knees surgically repaired, I'm a huge fan of modern medicine. Beyond that, a couple of years ago, I had a friend who was studying at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and, when he needed someone to practice on, he'd invite me down for free acupuncture and cupping.
