Just the Morality Police?

The Reality: Reported cases of sexually transmitted diseases and the number of abortions are rapidly growing in the United Kingdom, even with extensive sex education.

The Thought: No matter what your moral stance is on the issue of premarital sex, I think we can all agree that sexually transmitted diseases and "some on their fourth (abortion) before they reach 18" is not a good thing for individuals or society as a whole.

Backing a Bold Claim

I don't know if you caught it this past Sunday, but Joe made a bold claim in passing during the 27-Hour Service. So, not wanting to just leave it out there, this week Joe and Ryan explore the book of Matthew to flesh out the reason behind what Joe said, and they seek to further the discussion on culture, marriage, and natural law.

Is Straight Marriage Just a Christian Thing?

Starting tomorrow, June 17, 2008, homosexual couples will be able to marry in California. Obviously the Christian Right is up in arms over this decision because it runs in opposition to their moral values.

As I write this, the tale of Governor Spitzer and his escort just refuses to die. At first, it was the whole story about client 9, and then the unveiling of Ashley Alexandra Dupre. This was followed Ashley's under-aged appearance in Girls Gone Wild. Who knows what else is to come.
