My 5 Favorite Sports Teams

Whenever I’m in Boston I’m reminded of how big a sports town it is. Rightfully so, in the past decade, Boston fans have experienced winning two World Series, three Superbowls, and a Basketball championship. Blog Update Changes

The Sacred Vapor blog is changing. When I started blogging several years ago, the objective was to write about my thoughts as they pertain to theology. But in some ways… the blog started to feel a bit academic and abstract.

Footprints

Friday Photo

Had a great vacation in Wildwood and Cape May NJ. Some more pics can be viewed here.

The Most Difficult Question

Someone recently asked me what I thought was the most difficult question in Christianity. I recall hearing this from Greg Koukl and I agree with him that the most difficult question is not an apologetics question, but a theological one.

The Greatest Truth

I’m not a huge fan of The Purpose Driven Life book, I suppose it is a good book. However, the very first line of that book is probably the best theology… the best message to live by… the greatest truth.

Religion and the Gospel

The following is something I found from Tim Keller that depicts the differences between religion and the Gospel message. A PDF version is available here.

Mid-Summer

Friday Photo

July was a busy month. I haven’t had much time for photography but look forward to August as I have some vacation time coming. It’s amazing that summer is half way through… is it really August already?

Rails

Friday Photo

Driving past some railroad tracks, I decided to get out and take a pic.
Rest of my pics here.

The Problem of Hell

Series: problems with Christianity
05: Hell

Example:
Why would a good God send people to eternal punishment? isn’t God cruel by creating people who eventually would spend their eternal destiny in torment?
